2010-01-02 Merry new year The indipendent artists formerly known as DARN wishes you all a spectacular new year! 2009-01-22 We're not dead... yet Just for the record, DARN is still alive but we have taken two or three steps back to find the inspiration and motivation to continue. We have set up a studio and who knows what will come out of it, right now we working without any restrictions or limitations. Time will tell whether we continue as DARN or evolve into something new. The past year has as always been exciting and although we haven't been performing as frequently since the summer we're still breathing! Much has happened within the band, Martin did a come back as guitarist, Jacob switched from guitar to bass and we recorded 3 new songs. On top of that Roger became a proud father to his new born son William. We'll be back in 2008 live and loud as allways! 2007-12-11 Recording postponed We decided to postpone the new recording until 2008. In the meantime we will have plenty of time for vacation and writing new masterpieces. 2007-11-09 New recoring in early 2008 DARN is preparing a kick-ass recording that will be available sometime early 2008! We have booked a studio in the middle of December and will record 3 songs. It's gonna be f*cking beautiful! 2007-10-28 New live photos We have put up some photos from the gig at Alcazar last week. It will be a blast!!  More info » 2007-09-11 And finally NEW MUSIC!!! The 3 songs we recorded before the summer are now up for listening in the jukebox! Due to vacations, technical problems and pure lazyness this project has been delayed for too long but finally you can hear how our pre production demo from SAE studios turned out. The spring has been busy with lots of gigs at the same time as we've done some major changes within the band. Now we take some relaxing vacation and have started writing on some really promising new material. The 3 new songs we recorded, together with 3 students from the SAE sound engineering school, are now mixed and as soon as they are mastered we'll put them up on the website. 2007-04-20 Change is the only constant! DARN continues to evolve in the pursue of glory and fame. First we would like to announce that Anders is leaving the band to focus his energy on his other project Royale Madness (check them out!). We wish Andy all the best in the future; he is great guy and will be much missed! Jacob will fill Andys space by putting his guitar to rest for a while and instead picking up the bass! He is very excited about this new challenge and has already tracked the bass in the new studio recordings! Last but not the least we would like to welcome Martin Runnding back in the band. Yes, that’s right, our former drummer Martin is teaming up with us again and this time as guitarist! Martin contributed to the song writing already while he was in the band 3 years ago and we’re confident that he will continue to evolve together with the band. We’re all very excited about this reunion! Now we can’t wait to meet the audience with this new constellation!! 2007-04-03 New recording commenced We have once again entered the studio to records some new material. This time we’re working together with three talented guys; Björn, Jon and Andreas in "SAE studios" in Stockholm. We are confident that they will make the songs justice and that we can turn this into a great demo/promo! We’re recording three songs and you’ll be able to hear the final result some time later this spring. You can expect some good shit out of this! 2007-03-16 New gigs confirmed! We're teaming up with our friends in Willowtree and Nancy's Dead on friday 23/3 at KTH/Nymble! It will be a great night and you don't want to miss it! We have also a new gig booked at Obaren on the 8th of May.  More info » 2007-03-12 The gig at Hard Rock is cancelled! We are sorry to announce that the gig at Hard Rock Café in April is cancelled. As far as we heard they’ve had problems with the neighbours and lost their permit to have live acts.
